Why it is powerful
A major advantage is simultaneous multi-channel acquisition. You can measure four vibration signals together with four process values such as temperature or pressure and a tachometer signal. This makes it suitable for complex machinery such as pumps, compressors, fans, gearboxes, motors, turbines and rotating production equipment.
It also supports triaxial sensors, proximity probes, acoustic microphones, ultrasound microphones, current clamps and other accessories, making the instrument more of a complete machinery diagnostic platform than simply a vibration analyzer.
Current software/firmware
As of April 23, 2026, Adash lists VA5 Pro firmware version 2.85. Recent additions include improved external-sensor/tacho functions, multi-channel bump testing, additional ADS directions and ISO filtering of order measurements.
