There is a significant spread in asking prices depending on calibration, age, accessories and condition. For example, a Japanese used-equipment listing has offered a 2014-era 5010C for ¥770,000, although that unit was listed as as-is and lacked processing software. Another used unit is advertised at US$12,000 with two batteries, charger, cables, software and a calibration certificate, while another listing asks US$40,000.
For a sale listing, the most important things to verify are: calibration date/certificate, scanner operating hours, battery condition, included software/licenses, tripod/accessories, scan-test results, and whether the HDR camera and compensator are functioning correctly.
