How it works
The 1 GHz GPR antenna sends electromagnetic pulses into the concrete. Reflections from changes in material—such as steel reinforcement, cables, pipes, conduits, voids or interfaces—are recorded and displayed on the touchscreen.
For larger areas, the operator can perform a Grid Scan, collecting multiple parallel scan lines to create a plan-style subsurface image. The system also supports Line Scan for following individual targets.
Conquest 100 Enhanced
The Conquest 100 Enhanced expands the original system’s data-management capabilities. It can store multiple projects and export .GPZ project files, which can subsequently be processed using the optional EKKO_Project PC software. Enhanced grid options include areas up to 2.4 × 2.4 m.
EKKO_Project is particularly useful when you need more than a quick field image—for example, organizing multiple scans, analyzing GPR data and preparing professional client reports.

Limitations
- 1 GHz frequency prioritizes resolution and concrete inspection rather than very deep penetration.
- GPR interpretation requires operator experience; a displayed target should not automatically be assumed to be a particular type of utility.
- Maximum specified viewing depth is around 91 cm, and actual penetration depends strongly on concrete condition and electromagnetic properties.
In short: the Conquest 100 is best thought of as a specialized concrete GPR scanner for locating rebar, PT cables, conduits, voids and energized wires before construction work.
